the yamaha mobile service trailer will be on site Saturday during the demo event and during tournament hours on Sunday. Great chance for anyone interested in a boat to actually ride before you buy plus have a chance at winning a cash prize just for taking a ride
I know I'm a little late on this post, but I just joined the boards yesterday.
This tournament puzzles me, as much as I would love to win a Skeeter, test drive a Skeeter, and OWN a Skeeter...I don't, therefore wouldn't this negate entering a "Skeeter" only tournament?
Maybe someday I'll get my hands on a ZX, but since I don't have one, and no one I fish with has one, I couldn't even be a co-angler at this event to enjoy all of the Skeeter excitement.
As far as entering the tournament yes you must own a Skeeter to participate. This is a owner appreciation event that Skeeter puts on for its loyal customers. This was for 2008 though so yes you are a little late. The demo teams are there to give cuatomers as well as potential customers rides in the boats to demonstrate the features and handling chacteristics of the boat. Kind of a ride before you buy program. You dont have to own a Skeeter for this and anyone taking a ride at these events are entered in a cash giveaway drawing of up to 500.00 just for taking a ride. Sorry to say we have cancelled the tournament is this region for 2009 but hope to be back in 2010. The main owners tournament will still be held in Lake Fork Tx
Maybe by then I'll have my own Skeeter...Here's hoping for 2010.
Thanks for the info, and I would love to go for a spin in a ZX180/190 or the SX180/190 series. Those are the ones I have my eyes on...Niiice rigs!
When you get ready to get some prices send me a message. May be able to save you a little money on a new one. I woudnt go any smaller than the 190 though.
