I'm trying to get a temperature of interest and ideas for a bass tournament in the 2009 Bluegrass State Games. As with all the BGSG events, the are no financial payouts: there are however, medals given to the first, second and third place finishers. There would probably be a minimal entry fee per two-man team. At this point, no amount has been discussed
If you'd like to see bass fishing in the state games, when and where do you think the tournament should be held? Is there anything else realistly you would like to see in a BGSG tournament? Your comments are very appreciated!!
The BGSG committee consisteing of Governor Martha Lane-Collins, Alan Stein (founder of the Lexington Legends baseball team) as well others are very interested in adding this sport to next year's state games. Look forward to hearing your opinions. Thanks!!
