    Cherokee fishing

I did not come to Cherokee last year so it has been two years since I have been on the lake. I would like to plan a late fall trip. How how the Striper/Hybrid fishing recovered from the low water levels and fish kill last year?

    Thanks for any information.

    Re: Cherokee fishing

Stripers and HYbrids have recovered well . But Stripers and HYbrids are a lot SMALLER 4 to 8lbs. or 9 lbs. My son and I have been doing well around Pt. 3 to Single Tree Island . That fish kill last year really did some damage I counted Hundreds of DEAD stripers in Mossey Creek. TVA turned of the Airators ??? AS for the Stripers in the fall . they will be heading up stream as the water cools. Get on TWRA . Creek Clerk he will give reports up until Jan. Or get back with me and will gladly give you a report . I fish for them two to three days a week if it's not to cold .. YANK
