Does that mean you want to go next year? The best weeks in July need to be booked now.. Those are the last 2 weeks of July and into first week of August. The Sockeye are running and Kings are open till the 31st. Though they are few in number and hard as heck to catch. Our guides do a good job on them though with around a 30% catch rate. Just over one per trip for 4 in the boat. Some days more some days nothing.
Silver or Coho will run around the first of August and next year no Pinks to deal with. Then there is the Halibut.. wo.. that Halibut is awesome.

Fish Recipe:
Some salt and pepper on the fillet
Put a light layer or mayonaise on a fish
Then slice an onion very thin, and place on the fish
Slices of thin yellow pepper and red pepper are next and then
Sour cream on top of that.
Cook till close to done and add Cheddar Chese to the top.
Works best on Halibut but also works on Pink Salmon and Silver Salmon...
Try it on Trout, and even crappie if you want.
This is so good I would swim the Kenai River naked for it and that river is darn cold.
