These rods are not really good. I guy come in the store that I work at with this flyer. He ordered 1 and got one free. He ordered the med heavy and when he got them in they felt like a medium action. I didnt like them, but thats just my opinion.

I got a flyer today from Acadia Sports out of Irvine, Texas with a rod offer that seems too good to be true. First Rod of your choice 49.95 plus S & H and second rod FREE... I'm wondering if anyone out here has tried their rods and are the reviews valid?
How bout a holler back to share the experience...

I ordered a few of these rods. At about $25 per rod, I feel like they were a good deal. They seem to be better quality than most $25 rods out there. I do agree that the actions seem to be a bit "flimsier" than advertised but there is no way to test this out through internet and mail orders. I have been very pleased with the 6'6'' medheavy poles. Of course they do not compare to G loomis!
I have 4 of these rods in different actions and all work great for the money,no they are no g.loomis but I think the G.loomis are way over rated it just becomes a game of my rod cost more than your rod with some people because for my money st.coix is the best on the market bar none and I do have five g.loomis but sometime they are just as good at catching fishermen as they are at catching fish
