    Smile Oil cooled hubs

Would like to know if anybody that has the oil cooled hubs on the Ranger trailers if you have had problems with them leaking.I have been trying to fix mine for at least a year and still no luck.I have replaced seals at least 10 times and removed brakes pads because I thought maybe they were running hot and even this did not help.I even bought the new oil cap design and even
that did not help.Am seriously thinking about just going to grease.

    Re: Oil cooled hubs

I have a 2004 Triton with the oil and have had no problems at all. I thought my oil was low this spring because i couldnt really see it through the window but when i jacked it up and went to fill it it was allready full, it was so full thats why I couldnt see a low level. I think that is clear as mud. Anyway no problems here I love not having to screw with the lube all the time.

I have a ranger, mine have grease, but in my wheel barring ket I have these sleeves that slide over the spindle and give the seal a new service to ride on I cant think of the name of those things but i'm sure someone can tell you what they are, you may try it and see, let us know if it works.

Do you have Pittburghs phone number so I can call them to see if there was
something they did special to make them work?
