Fall Bite

If you get a chance now is the time to be on the water. I've been out the last 3 weekends. Three weeks ago all I was catching was dinks and the water was starting to turnover. Last week 2 keepers and a few dinks water still turning. This weekend the water was finally clearing up and the fish where biting again. Friday night an 8 lber (channel cat ). Saturday morning 6.3 and 1 bigger that I lost when the hook pulled out as I was landing it . Note to self - keep net on deck. Saturday evening 4 keepers, biggest 2.9. This morning 3 keepers, biggest 3.1. Best weekend since May.
