Question Wolf Creek Dam or WHAT?

How would the fishing be at Wolf Creek dam the week of Thanksgiving? I am looking to try to catch some trout, and I have heard the fishing there is pretty good. What types of bait should I try? Are there any other dams in the area I could try for trout? Also, what about camp sites...any in the area? Any info you guys can give me would be great!

Fishing has been good for a while there. During the heat of the summer the best fishing was upstream near the dam, Helms etc. Lack of disolved oxygen and higher water temps hurt things downstream this summer. Not sure what type of fishing you are doing, but fly fishing lately has been good on Zebra midges. I haven't been in about two weeks, so things could have changed.

    Try this website.. www.fishwolfcreek.com
He has camping sites right there are the dam with Electric, and a Laundry Room.
Also has cabins. this is right at the dam near the Trout Hatchery.
Roy Schell is his name he is a really nice guy.
Trout should be doing really well by then and the leaves should be off the trees and not causing problems for fishing.
