We fished to but only managed two shorties and one decent walleye. Couple of other hit's but man it was really slow. What did you get the Spots on, we didn't do much bass fishing.

Headed out at O'-dark-thirty. Launched at Jamestown and fished Lily, Caney, Wolf, and Greasey. Water temp was 46-48. We were looking for Striper action but did not find any. Saw several guide boats but no one was catching any fish. We did manage to catch some spots on bluff walls so it was not a "bust". I was hankering for the "big" pull from a nice stiper but I'll take what I can get!!
Wormin' I'm ready to hit it with the FNF whenever you are. Give me a shout.

We got the spots on some "long john" minnows. They were rigged on 3/8oz jig heads and we cast them over to the bluffs and let them just fall and "pumped" them back to the boat very slowy.
What part of the lake did you fish? What did you hit the stripes and eye on?
Same areas as you. Stripes came on bucktails, walleye came on sliver.
You all are lucky. This was the first weekend since the weather and water got cold - the REAL fishing season - that I didn't get to go. All of my usual partners had other plans. I'm going to have to find a couple of new partners so I can keep going every weekend.
We will keep an eye on the weather,Saturday is looking good right now, low 50s. We will go and drown a few flies or get a sunburn.
