I'll keep my eyes and ears open for them. I hate a thief, they should be shot multiple times. Larry

Thank you guys for your concerns towards thiefs, We are installing a security system tomorrow, just to give us a little peace of mind, while we are away from home. Just do me one thing if you own any firearms, go purchase a safe, it will be well worth the money.Especially if you own guns, like myself that were handed down.Again Thanks for any help, Hope everyone has nice Christmas and happy NewYear.

    Good Luck

If the cops there are like the ones in Terre Haute, good luck getting anything back.

I had a Glock .40cal stolen from my house, by a high school kid that was visiting my son. I gave the name to the cops, they did nothing.

Then a year later, they send me a letter, asking me if the gun is still stolen, and if it is, it stays on a hot list in a computer. Thats all they do.

The only hope you have is it shows up at a pawn shop, and the owner of the shop is not a crook and turns it in. Most of those guys rely on moving stolen property, so they don't like to cooperate with the cops on firearms. The cops told me that.

The owner of the pawn shops in Terre Haute is actually under indictment for moving stolen goods.

    Re: break-in

We've had an alarm system since we built the home in '98. It's set all the time. Even if we're in for the night it gets set. I hope they catch the scum and you get your items returned.
