If you have an LMS320 it will not recognize it when you install it. What you need to do is put the chip in and start the unit up. Once the unit is on you need to open the door and pull the chip out and put it back in. (Normally you don’t do this but trust me you will need to do it).
Next thing is you have to go to program settings where you can turn on the demo for GPS, your setting right now, should show Miami, US and something else. When you pull the chip out and put it back in all the states will show up as abbreviations not the actual state name like the new one will. So scroll down until you see ky,tn and click on it. Your GPS will now register and work properly but if you change states other than ky or tn you have to change the state settings. If it ever stops working just pull it out while the unit is on and it will start working again. This should not happen very often but it will maybe 1 or 2 times a year.
