And you know Mark is one of the nicest, proffessional, all around good guys of the sport - so much so I can't help root for him when he's in a tourney! I'm proud to have met and talked with him for a while at the Elite on KY lake this year.

Thats a cool story from a kentucky boy............
Mark's a good guy and good fisherman. Met him way back in 1997. I also always want to see him do good in the Elite Series.
I have been lucky to fish with Mark a couple of times in the last few years. He is a super guy!! He picks up on little details that I have never considered. I am constantly looking for a pattern, but he gets so detailed it's amazing. That's why he is where he is. He has also been picked up by Power Tackle rods, so congrats to him on that. Sponsors are making cuts and a lot of guys won't make it after this year. He is one of the most respected guys in the industry.
I have been lucky enough to know Mark for 15 years or so, I have fished with him and done some photo shoot/interview stuff with him. There was a November a few years back where a bunch of us spent four days at Dale Hollow and I never realized just how funny Mark was.
I was fortunate enough to get to talk fishing with Mark once. He is a very nice and humble guy, a credit to the sport.
That was a great article. Reminded me of a not so small bronze back on an outing in Oldham county.
