Conditions at LBL?

I was curious if anyone had been to LBL since the ice storm. I bet it's a mess.

I believe they have closed it for the next 3 weeks.

It is a mess down here. I am not sure if they can get LBL safe for visitors within 3 weeks - especially the north end. Drove by and looked at some of the lake area, and it is not pretty. Most of the area looks like a 30 mile wide tornado ripped through the area. Very few trees remain unharmed. Most have the top 1/3 broken off.

On another note with the amount of timber either fallen into the water, or on the shoreline(which will be under once the water comes up) - I bet the spring fishing will be a blast. I would say I will primarily be flipping for the next couple of months.

I have enough timber in my yard to heat up any ledge on the lake, I bet there will be quite a bit of brushpiles sunk in the next several weeks.
