Green River Bass Club 2009 meeting & schedule

The Green River Bass Club will hold a spring meeting on Sunday March 1st at 2:30 pm eastern time. The meeting will take place at Crazy Horse Archery and Tackle in Campbellsville. Anyone interested in fishing with the club in 2009 is encouraged to attend. In 2008 the Club had 98 total members with 42 boats qualifying for the Club Classic. We are expecting another good year in 2009. The club is made up of two person teams and we fish four different lakes during the year (Green, Barren, Nolin and Cumberland). The membership dues are $30 per person and the tournament entry fees are $50 per boat (except for the Cane Valley Christian Church Relay for Life Tournament $65)and that includes participation in the big fish pot. All teams that qualify for the Club Classic pay no entry fee for the Classic, although, we do have an optional big fish pot for each day of the two day classic. The Relay for Life open tournament ($65 entry fee) and our Edward Jones Open Tournament ($50 entry fee) each guarantees $1000 for first place. Our club is also a member of NATA (North American Tournament Association) which provides our club liability insurance to protect our members and our sponsors. Our club also has some great sponsors, some of which donate items that we give away at our tournaments.
