i was on wheeler last saturday and water was 48-51. haven't heard anything about stripe or hybrids but i dont fish for them either. crappie and catfish are doing real good though. good luck if you come down.

thanks for the reply. i think we will head down Sunday and stay for the week. i will keep an i on the weather. this will be our 6th year coming to fish what a paradise.

suppose to be cold sunday/monday but then warming nicely. we got A LOT of rain yesterday and today so you'll be dealing with a lot of current and muddy water. the ****'s will be open full force. be careful and hope you catch a bunch.
