Other than bringing ike into the situation......for what it's worth went today without any results.........a couple chaser trout.......water temp is 42-44 degrees and the fish are no way near pre-spawn yet(i wish) fished from 2ft to 50ft and nothing............i have been known to catch a few fish during the winter months but, not this year.......i'll probably be fishing the bfl as well but i will report results, i hope!!!!!!!!

what is it with Laurels water temps anyways...it seems like laurel is always somewhat colder than other lakes
go anywhere else. Went today and nothing. Talked to a few guys and they said they caught them. Was throwing a jerkbait and had bunch of them chase but they wouldnt take. Had a few pull downs on a jig. It was like they was just pulling the tail.
