    Trailer Bearings

I decided to replace my trailer bearing seals and while I was at I decided to go ahead and get new bearings. The bearings I bought have the bearings and inner races together but do I need to replace the outer races that are down in the hub? Thanks

If the races are in good shape with no pitting, spalling, or discoloration you are ok with them. Clean bearings and races with denatured alcohol and apply a light coat of mineral oil before installing and adding grease.
