    Eating Sauger - Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for the information on eating Sauger. Seems to be about 50-50 on eating them but I suppose I will just refrain from doing so just to be on the safe side. I love to fish and eat them but don't have a problem catching them and letting them go!

    I'm with you Perk0,

I catch and release out of the Ohio. I start thinking it might be OK to fry up a few but then hear on the news about another dead body, car, barge, etc.. being found on the bottom and think otherwise (although it's the industrial chemicals/heavy metals that are the real problem). It's a fun place to fish, and releasing a nice one feels good.
