The temp is probably somewhere around 400 or 500 degrees because it's on fire from what I've heard and read. Seriously, they are killing them down there and I would imagine that Dave's post has correct info regarding temp.

Does anyone know the water temp at Ky. Lake? I have seen everything from 48 degrees on KY. Lakes website today to 56 degrees on Dave Stewarts post last week. I know the cold front came thru, but did the temp drop 8 degrees?

Sunday was the last time I was out. It was 50-53 on the main lake, and I saw as high as 55/56 in the back of bays on the north end. It has been extremely warm the past few days, so I would say the temps are rising up, however, we had some good rain last night that may have had some impact.
Yes, the fishing is great right now.
The water temps on my report last week as the water temps on all my reports is the surface temperature on the main lake at first light. The water temps dropped on Friday and Saturday nights due to the cold frontal passage. The water temp this morning at first light was a little over 56 degrees. You can find the main lake water temps on the following site which is updated every 30 minutes:

Was out this afternoon and saw 56 degrees on the west side of the main lake and 58 in the main parts of the bays on the west side. Not much sun today but it is supposed to be a little warmer and more sunny tomorrow.
Thanks, for the information and the link.
