white bass

Are white bass still hitting on French Broad? Wanted to bring my young son over and let him try and catch a few. I was over at leadvale about a week and a half ago and they were hitting pretty good. Also whats the water look like after the rain this week? Was hoping to come over Tommorow and friday, any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Will

My brother and I was at Leadvale last Saturday. The river was up and a little merky. Very few people on the bank but, some fish was still being caught. Between the two of us we snagged a carp. The wind was crazy. Gave up and went home at noon. He is on his way down there now. He is instructed to keep me informed.
