Man, what a hoss, I believe I would of had to drop her back in, and get a replica made, think of all the little ones she is going to make, with some great genes.

Thats a big bunch of brown fish right there. I would take one half that size and be thrilled.

great fish!!!
Her new home will be on the wall at the Dale Hollow 1 Stop - I know it's a fine line, but given the choice between going home with David or going to a local landmark where everyone can see her, I'm good with the decision that was made.
congrats
i do not blame him for putting her on the wall at all...... and i have talked to biologists before and they will tell u that a real old fish like that dont produce as many fertile eggs as the younger fish adn they are also very quick to give up on the bed..... so i would keep it that is a fish of a lifetime especially out of the holler.....i went thru the same aggrivation for keeping my 5 lb smallie this year..... basically i came to the conclusion that if i wanna keep a fish i will.... i would have put that 10lber right there beside my brown fish on the wall..... but good catch for sure....
