Whenever you catch a fish on this homemade rascal you need to take a picture of the fish with your handy work attached to it's lips. Nice work man!

Thanks, oh man I caught my first one yesterday and no camera or phone to snap a pic! It was only about 11" long but I was excited about it anyway....it felt good.

I'm going to have to get over there too.

Was watching Andrew's plugs in the creek today and they're just awesome.

Both of you live just around the corner from me. Give a call and stop on by. Both welcome to make sawdust in the cave.

There are a few of us here who make cranks. Probably can get some tips on making them from us. Tackleunderground.com has a hard bait forum with plenty of crank making info.

DJD that is very nice. You should have seen my first crankbait. Not that great looking. I bet you got the bug bad now. I've been making lures for a long time now and have gone from wood to hard plastic. Now the only baits I use when I am on Lake Cumberland are the ones I make. It is a great feeling to catch a fish on a lure that you make yourself. I got a striper last trip to Cumberland that was in the low to mid 20's. Caught my personal best smallmouth a couple of years ago also. Man what a feeling.

Thanks! Andrew guided my every move. It did feel good to catch my first bass on it and since then I haven't started another one. Had alot on my plate this year with family issues and of course my other habits like guns, fishing, hunting, atv...kayak...hiking......women .
