Can someone give a report on how the water conditions are at Dale and are the fish biting?

Went to Dale on Tuesday & only had 1 smallmouth 18 inches, broke off on a couple of fish. Using fantail minnows & shiners. Had good color but water was up & fish had not come up with it. Tough. Put in at the State dock.
Thanks for the reports. Might try to go Monday or Tuesday.
I fished today early for a couple hours, with livebait, caught more 14-15 inch fish than I can remember, one over 20.
these fish came throwing into the bank, the bigger fish came from drifting in 17 ft of water.... so a crank bait would have worked Im sure...
Lake is as high as anyone can remember, lot of trash but clear, temps 67. 68

Spent last week there and the water is higher than I've seen in over 10 years of fishing the lake. Water temps were in the mid 60s generally and some fish were still on the beds. We fish with shad caught from the lake but it was still very erratic fishing . . . most smallies were shallow, some were deep. Caught a few over 21" but they were hard to come by. The big trout were hitting really well toward the end of the week. Also got a few 4-5lb walleye. Fishing should get much better soon.
