No bad mental images required. DJD's lab Maxx and Mishka ran each other ragged while we did the crank bait thing.

Oh, and Mishka has problems spelling her own name right too, so don't feel bad

    Don,

There is sawdust flying most evenings in that garage. Stop on by anytime and join in the fun. Heck, bring that Splitshot guy over with you too if you like.

Re: A few more Crankbait pics

Well I gotta say how good it felt to catch a few really good fish on my home made crankbait this past weekend. Got a 17" Walleye and several bass that went 2.5lbs also caught a few smaller ones. All this is the hot afternoon Sun.
The bait worked before but not this good....very satisfying!

Ryan thanks, I'm about to start two more one with a chartruese and black and another with more of a parrot color pattern. These dive about 5-1/2 ft.

Ryan you ain't kidding I wandered over there and was blown away with the paint jobs they put on those baits. Better than anything I have ever seen. I'm not one who needs that perfect paint job but man I can appreciate quality work. Wow!

With the way some of those baits look, if I got one hung up I would be going in after it.

Man your right about that! I think a few of those placed in a frame with some stones would look very nice. Be a great addition to a man cave at the house.
