    Humbled at Barren...

Well, I was truly humbled at Barren the other day (6/2). After having an amazing day there the week before, we nearly were skunked. We started off fishing the islands throwing C-Rigs and cranks with no success. Then we hit the creeks around the narrows, the same place we had nailed them the week before, and caught a couple under 15". It was HOT and HUMID and MISERABLE! Oh well, that's why they call it fishing and not catching!

The water looked good and close to summer pool. People were tearing up the hybrids, might try that this next week, looked like fun (of course, when you are not catching anything....anything looks like more fun!).

Leaving work in a few minutes and heading to Barren. Hoping they have turned on by now but I doubt it with the frontal passage and blue skies.
