The weather was perfect....nice cool morning...overcast, cloudy skies...man, I just knew everyone was going to catch a limit....well, someone forgot to tell the fish.

Three teams did manage to catch a 4 fish limit, but the rest of the teams struggled to catch a few fish. In fact, nine teams failed to catch a single "keeper" bass. Oh well, I guess that's why they call it "fishing".

Stoner Creek is still one of the best fisheries around and if you have never been there, you owe it to yourself to fish there someday.

The team of Randy & Mike Downs from Bardstown, KY took 1st place honors with a 4 fish limit that weighed 7.35 lbs...they also took home the "Big Bass" award with a very nice 4.49 lb Largemouth.

2nd) Marvin Wells / Aaron Hutchison.....4 fish.....5.68 lbs

3rd) Brent Richie / Wes Thompson.....4 fish.....4.82 lbs

4th) Kevin Thomas / Bobby Anderson.....2 fish.....2.36 lbs

5th) Ron Pietosi / Michael Pietosi.....2 fish.....1.91 lbs

Our next tournament for Div. 1 of the Kentucky PondHoppers will be held on Stoner Creek out of Ike's ramp in downtown Paris, Ky (June, 20)
