Rough was prime until the storm last Wednesday. The water rose up over the cement walk at Axtel. Last Monday was good.

Yeah, I was going to hit Salt River up toward the river bottoms area with a buddy, but geeze, you could get in the river in Mt. Washington and end up on Fort Knox within seconds with all that current and high water.

You all are nuts! Find a snake hole, and it's over. Find a big turtle, and you lost a digit. I have a friend that does it in Marion Co, in the Rolling Fork. He has lipped some doozies. He has told me stories about big cats gripping your hand and dragging people to the bottom. The same man, walks his brother's pond barefoot to find turtles. That, I have seen.

Hey check this out - I was at a fishing get-together in Ohio last weekend and on one of the floats the guys had stopped for lunch. One of the guys was just out wading in the water, looked down, saw a fish, cradled it from underneath and then lipped it. A 19" smallmouth by hand. That's bigger than the vast majority I catch with tackle.

Hey monarchman, that's a snapper catchin' mo-chine. I'm gonna buy a snapper man t-shirt to contribute to his teeth fund. He's got a sack that would make superman sick! No that isn't him. He's that crazy, though. For sure.

People have got to see them videos!
