Need Battery Charger

i've had a prosport 12 for the past 5 years. ran down to cedar this evening and trolling motor battery was dead.

got home, plugged in charger and got no lights, no nothing. is this what happens when your onboard charger bites the dust? just quits working period?

so now i'm needing a charger. any suggestions. i only have two batteries in the boat, one cranking and one trolling motor (it's a 12v 36lb. minn kota), so i think i'll just get another dual bank. if someone has one to sell let me know cause i definitely wasn't looking forward to dropping $100 - 200 bucks on a new one.
