    Adding a avitar

    Ive tried to add an avitar many times but it always says failed. Im trying to use a picture from my picture file on my computer. Picture was taken from digital camera and downloaded to computer. Anybody got any ideas?

    The only thing I can figure out was the pictures in my computer that I downloaded from my digital camera had way too many pixels [1450x1275]. I used my camera phone and took a picture of one of my framed pictures and cropped it down as much as I could on the computer. I finally got the pixel count lower than what the maximum was and the transfer from my computer finally went through. I have no idea if this was the right way to do it but it worked. Picture just isnt as clear as Id like though....Greg

    Do you still have the original? Right-click it and select "save picture as". When the Save Picture screen comes up, there should be something at the bottom that says "save as type". If it is saved a jpeg, try the other options, bitmap...and vice versa. This might help your picture clarity.
