Ohio River greenup pool

I need some info on the condition of the river. Planning a trip this week and would appreciate any info about river conditions.

Is the ramp at Ashland useable?

Water conditions---muddy, murky or clear?

Been a couple years since I fished this pool, so if you can share fishing tactics that would be nice.

Try this website and go to the discussion board and go to ohio river reports and ask a guy named Daveo he could probably help you www.ohiogamefishing.com. There is also a link on the ohio river forum with noaa tells you the water level and whoever reads this and fishes meldahl dam from the bank you better do it while you can it is going to be shut down in oct from what I am hearing to start construction on the hydro. Sorry not trying to steal your thread.
