Go to lowes or ace and get a gallon of silicone sealer and a spray bottle. Mist your cover down and you're done. Costs abour $20 and you have enough for 10/15 applications. Been doing it for years and it works for me....

I have one of these lovely high dollar Ranger boat covers. However it leaks water like a siv! It is a 2005 cover. I have tried using the waterproofing you use on a tent (you know the one with the bright orange cover) howevver when I did that the black dye from the cover leaked all down my white boat !!. Took me a while to get that off. Does anyone know of a better solution. I appreciate the feedback.

Trex and Big Wormy,
Thanks for the replys. I will try the silicone sealer. Trex can you tell if it bleeds your cover dye onto your boat? Big Wormy my plan is to build a garage at one point to park it in just have not gotten around to it as of yet.
Thanks again for the replys,

you can also buy a can of scotch guard and spray it on your cover. creates an anti permiable membrane to fabric from the top of where you spray, but will let the cover breath underneath. sorta works like neopream.
I've got a black cover and mine doesn't bleed. Works like the scotch-guard but a heck of a lot cheaper.Trex and Big Wormy,
