How many suckers you want?

anyone out there suggest a bait shop in Kentucky that sells live suckers, preferrably 10 inches or longer. The closer to south central Ky (Bowling Green) the better.
Thanks
How many suckers you want?
about 20
I used too take the kids every year too the river too catch them in the spring when they go up the river too spawn, that was in Mi.Why are you looking for them here?
The fellow at the Lake Cumberland Cuntry Store told me they have not been able to get suckers since Hurricane Katrina. Said they all came from down that way.
catfishing and muskie fishing
Thanks for the response Peter. that is not good news. I was counting on someone at Cumberland having some. They have become harder and harder to come by these days. Not as many folks fishing with them as in the past, I suppose.
BG: Man I hear ya. I used to love to fish with them at C-land when the Stripers were deep. I used to put those guys down 80-90 feet, keep them just close enough to the bottom that they could see it but not get there, and they'd spend the next 3-4 hours bouncing the rod tip and exciting Stripers while they tried to reach the mud. And the good thing was you could use the same bait 4 or 5 times, up and down. Sometimes it got to the point I was running out of face places in the sucker to hook it, just too many prior hook holes!
Side note, last time I was down, 3rd week of August, Lake Cumberland County Store/ Bass Pro was stocking Gizzard shad. FYI, if it helps any.
If I bump into any will let ya know and post here for all.
Not to steal this thread, but can't belive H. Bob didn't pick up on this one "LIVE SUCKERS". Brings many things to mind, other than bait!!
Have you tried Bass Pro Shop???? Everytime I'm in there they are walking around all over the place....
