After being in the hospital most of last year waiting for a liver transplant I'm now released to get back on the water. I usually fish between lock 7# and 6# on Ky River but would like to hear any reports or tips for Frankfort downriver to Elkhorn. Thanks

Thanks, reading the forum here has been keeping me somewhat sane this past year. Day after labor day I'll be puttin' her in.
No river tips either but im glad your ok. Go get em brother!
No river tips either, but I'm glad you are well and can get out, I hope you catch a monster.
I am glad you are better! Good luck!
Dester; I love good news, great to hear you're back in fishing form! The lock downtown rarely dissapoints, especially when using live bait. If you're anygood with a cast net, drive down 460 towards Georgetown, hit the tailwater of Johnson dam and get you a bucket full of chubs. I use a $30. Frabill to keep it alive. There are whites and sauger just waiting for you.
Thanks everyone, I had a minor health setback but I have the all clear now. Keep on fishin'
Best wishes Dester. I hope you have many great days on the water.
