Bug I think you are right; you know a beer drinker will see the humor in these lyrics. I think there is one there for everyone.

I think the people who wrote these lyrics were drunk.
Do any of them remind you of why you first started drinking. lol

HAHA some of those I think I used in the past!
I am being very serious here in that I titled a song "How Can I miss You If You Won't Go Away." over 25 years ago. I actually wrote a few lines to it. Only my closest friends can verify that I came up with that song title that long ago.
My title was actually a spin off of Roy Clark's "Thank God and Greyhound You're Gone"
A few lines from Tyme's lyrics.
I go to work and trudge back home
But you're still here to stay.
How can I miss you,
If you won't go away.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder
That's what I am hear them say.
But how can I miss you,
If you won't go away.
I've forgotten the rest of that song. Too many beers and too many tears have passed thru my life of too many years.
My blurred double vision kept me from reading the lyrics. Will you sing them to me?I think the people who wrote these lyrics were drunk.

LOL "If I had shot you when I wanted to, I'd be out by now!" That is a classic.
