I was hitting it every weekend up in the river end, putting in at the Bacon Creek Ramp. However they start pulling the lake down 2 feet at labor day weekend before doing the full pull in Oct, (not sure why)??? Anyway I hear the walleye are already leaving the shallower creeks and rivers and heading back out to the main lake. Im not sure where I'll start fishing next. Maybe Wax or Moutadier?

Did fair. We put in at Bacon Creek at night and go up to one of the several riffles within a mile of the ramp. Easy to find as there was always several fisherman on each riffle. We would put out a floating light, anchor up and jig nightcrawlers either on a plain jig head, or glowing fuzzy grub, or a spoon. Usually 3-4 keepers and several little ones plus lots of stripe because the light would bring in the shad by the thousands. Some people like leaches but they didnt produce for us like night crawlers did. Some people would go down to 5 fingers (cane run) and fish. Some like to troll over the riffles before dark. The one weekend we didnt go this past month was a zero moon night weekend and I heard they were catching 60-70 total fish a night for 3-4 nights. Its pretty much done now that water is being pulled because the fish are already moving back down to the main lake.
