Pond Hoppers Classic @ Guist Creek, 9/10-11

Got a call from my buddy, Jon, last night (his board name is Jabbo). He and his partner are in the lead by 2+ pounds after Day 1. I'll say this... They were on a pretty unique pattern yesterday. If that pattern holds up today they'll be tough to beat. I can't see the others throwing what he's throwing.

If anyone gets results before I do please post.

Tough day on the water yesterday. I managed to break off a mule in the morning and that hurt. After that It was tough to get my head in the game and the fish didn't cooperate for us after the sun popped out. We ended up in forth with out a fish to weigh the second day. I'm still happy with that and I had a great time. Congratulations to the Popes. They produced the fish when the conditions got tough and they deserve to "V".
