    bluegrass crappies

    went sunday and slayed them, we had two that when 1lb8oz and 1lb7oz.

    Very nice! What depth are you getting them? I went out the other day, and hit a bunch from 12' to 16'. Thought they would be alot shallower by now. Caught all fish on hand tied hair jigs.

    in about 5 foot of water, using a pink tube. i had a friend catch 3 big ones on a 5 INCH grub, I was surprized. it was white, he put a little bit of red dye on it.

    Fished bluegrass this morning and killed it. About 30 til I ran out of minnows. 2 around 1.5#. Switched over to bass fishing and it was sssllllooowww. 10 bass most in the 8" range. Pulled one at 3.1#. All from 5-7'.

    was going to prefish the river this weekend for our river tournament but its going to be mudd and high. i'm going to bluegrass sat and sunday, fish for bass early then switch to crappies.

    Paul, I was at the river yesterday. The water color is good but there was absolutely no current. It was like a lake. Lots of barge traffic. See you on Sat. the 17th.........

    Went to bluegrass this morning. 10 crappie one bass. The old man can't handle cold rain anymore so we headed in early.
