Antoine Walker, former NBA Boston Celtics star, was in deep debts and has been under pursuit of multiple financial institutions recently, according to reports from Yahoo sport on Wednesday.
In 12 years, 33-year-old Walker made more than 110 million U.S. dollars playing professional basketball moderately well. Taking away taxes, throwing in some aid as endorsement money and a "NBA Live 99" cover, he's left with around 60-to-65 million dollars.
During the last several months, the once multi-millionaire athlete has been pursued by multiple financial institutions for unpaid debts.
According to Shira Springer of The Boston Globe, Walker owes more than 4 million dollars to his creditors and is facing felony check fraud charges in Las Vegas.
How could that amount of money dissipate? Walker liked to move in an outsized entourage. His mother estimates that, during his playing days, he was supporting 70 friends and family members in one way or another. And speaking of his mother, he built her a mansion in the Chicago suburbs, complete with an indoor pool, 10 bathrooms, and a full-size basketball court.

You said it man....some guys do very well with their money. I guess when you grow up with people telling you how great you are and you start believing the hype you can make some dumb decisions.
Even some of these folks who hit the lotto go broke within a few years.
I read an article that said he built houses for several of his Peeps. The one he built for his mother was so lavish that it had an indoor Olympic pool, Sauna and a basketball court. Why did his aging mother need a basketball court, lol. They also went on to say that he propped up financially MANY of his cousins and their friends, what an idiot.
