Strip pit bite was on last night.

I fished several small secluded strip pits last night. From about 11:00 pm to 12:45 pm with only two bites on a 4.0 inch black and red flake tube bait and couldnt manage to hook any of them.
At 12:45 am was just about to give it up and walk back to the truck when i decided to give to give it one more cast when a fish hit the bait hard. At that time ten, twelve and fourteen inch largemouth started hammering the tube bait where i then switched to a black jitterbug. With the jitterbug i caught one fish at right under eighteen inches long and another right at nineteen inches long. Caught a fifteen incher and some more smaller sized ones and the bite stopped cold at about 2:00 am with no more fish being caught. Not bad at all for a night of bank fishing.
