looking for a roof nail gun

I am getting ready to shingle my roof and am looking for an air roof nail gun, used and not expensive if anyone is wanting to get rid of one they are not using.

Hey bassky did you call arts rental or schuholf rental I think thats how you spell it, anyways you may be able to rent one if they carry that type of stuff.

Air guns are a dime a dozen arts doesnt sell them cheap, heck you can buy them on ebay or craigslist, if you are only installing your roof you might consider renting. Be careful with a air gun that you dont hit the shingle to hard it will cut a circle around the nail and weaken the shingle, i have been a contractor for 28 years, I do not do roofing anymore it is to hard on the body, I always hand nailed you get pretty fast at it.

Thanks for the info guys. I got one on loan from my wife's cousin, a Bostitch, and it works great. Finishing up the roof tonite! I can now go fishing and hunting, finally!!
