    huntsville area ?

    might be going to huntsville to do some work was wanting to know how far guntersville is from there or ne lake near by that would be worth the time to hit thanks

    gunterville is 30-45 minutes and wheeler lake is in huntsville

    you can drive an hour and be at several lakes. there is wheeler, guntersville, wilson and pickwick lakes. also a private lake right outside hunstville but electric motor only.

    do any of you guys know, what lake every one fishes below. for stripers. a guy told me they were plenty of them and no limit. on some lake in alabama.

    most any lake with hold tons of stripers in the tailwaters of the dam. im not sure what limits and whatnot cause I don't fish for them so not sure about the rules/regulations. I know Wilson dam is a hotspot certain times of the year. I also know logan martin is well known for them.
