Walleye or Sauger on CR

Has anyone been catching any on the river?
I caught some back in early Sept. but haven't been back since. I caught right around the ramp at Burkesville.
Is closer to the dam better ?

Don't know about other streams but they are hitting fairly well below several dams on the Ohio river.

For me the best time on the great cumberland river is in the first two months of the year for walleye no size but good numbers when the water is high and fast

Jig/grub with minnow or night crawler harness or other ?

We are as close to the dam that you can get at the same time being safe cause the output is high and fast we use heavy lures that we do not care to lose to the bottom. The color white to us seems to the best
