Got coaxed by the wife into taking my 6yr old daughter to a friends birthday party (won't fall for that one again! lol). With a dozen or so little girls screaming and running around, I though the party was going to be nothing more than the beginning of a migraine for me....however, the little birthday girl's grandfather was sitting there (with the same blank stare as me, lol) so I asked the time old question, "you fish any?". Well, the next hour ensued of non-stop fishing talk. He told me that he fishes nearly every day, and that he only crappie fishes. He said that they had caughten (three people) 142 crappie the other day on the green river locks! He referred to lock 5, 7 and the Rochester locks. Anybody know about this? He was a little vague as to the exacts (as most are when it comes to their honey holes) so I was wondering if anyone else on here fishes for crappie during the winter at the green river locks? If so, any info would be appreciated, thanks!
