    crankbait drying wheel

    i am looking for ideas to make a drying wheel for my painted baits. i would greatly appreciate it if someone could post some pictures of their wheels, or tell me how to make a good sturdy wheel. i am not happy with what i have. any and all advice would be welcome. thanks, Bruce

    I built one out of PVC pipe and attached it to a rotiseri motor. Probably no more than $30 in parts. I can do 12 striper sized plugs on it no problem. I'll see if I can get a photo of it later. Note that if you are using something that sets up pretty quick like Devcon, you can just flip the plugs a couple of times without having to spin them.

    I don't have a clue to what a crankbait drying wheel is I got on here to see a photo. If it is what I think it is you could drill a few holes in the ceiling fan blades hang them on the blades and turn on slow speed.

    thank you all for the advice, i came up with something pretty simple that works great. i tried the ceiling fan but it threw clear coat on my wife's grandfather clock. now im getting divorced. (not really) thanks again, Bruce

    Go to www.bassboatcentral.com and go to bait and rod building section and they have pictures of several different models.

    Use an old bicycle rim with spokes, attach a rotisserie motor and you have a dandy.
