Drove past there about a week ago and there was still a lot of mud on the road right in front of the ramp....makes it kinda mean getting your boat in the water....last time I fished it prolly a couple weeks ago the water temp was high 30's...never caught but a couple small bass that day but did catch several croppie so it wasn't a waste.....

I was going to drown some minnows when I went. I need a mess of crappie in the freezer. My dad has been bugging me for months for some crappie and my boat has not been wet since August at Ikes. Had a great night that night off a buzzzbait. I figured the mud around the road will be frozen I just hope the creek will not be. I have made the drive before and found it frozen up so thick that we tried to break it with a centerblock and it would not break. I plan on going Wed or Thurs so keep me posted. Thanks!!

Don't know if you do the fnf thingy but you might want to take some little jigs along with you......the last couple times I went croppie fishing, couldn't get much going with the minnows but the little 1/32 oz jigs fished with a tiny tube under the bobber about 4 or 5 feet deep was working pretty well.......fish weren't everywhere but if you find the right spots you could catch several...if you go,let us know if the mud is still a problem....I hate wading around in the mud trying to get the boat in the water...
