WOW!!! Now that's a fish . Congrats to Wilks.
Do you mind posting details on time of day the fish was caught and type of bait/lure?

    Thanks,

Caught around 12:30 pm.Caught running up in discharge at sluice gates, not on generator side. For some reason shad were getting sucked out of lake on sluice gate side.Spent 8 hrs ruuning up and ripping out, water was rough.Only had 4 bites-12 lber,4 lb walleye,34 lb striper and lost another good striper.

Fishing shad with 1/4 oz weight on line running up in discharge, throw um out ,drift out and do it over.

Let's see...at $16.50 dollars per inch times 30" or so...that would make that fish worth at least $500.00 dollars to turn it into wall art...which is EXACTLY what I would have done with that walleye.

    Nice fish!

    Nice fish!
You will be spending that much this spring for your 7 + lber on Dale.
A man of your ecomomic stature doesn't worry about a paltry $ 500 taxidermy bill. You spend that much every week on fine cigars and spirits! Not to mention the upkeep on your 6 girl friends. Don't forget to share with your favorite fishing buddy!

I know you have kept me on fish all season, but a couple filet's would make me smile, or share a walleye spot on DH
