Yeah, bead head hares ear, that is what has been working for me. Went out to Big Bone Saturday with my twin and my buddy Mike for a bit of on stream casting instruction, then my other brother showed up, it was weird.
In the past I have tried to get folks who have expressed interest in fly fishing to practice first before we actually go but have found that they never do unless I drive to their house and take em' by the hand every day. However, if you can get them hooked up with a fish and maybe a few tress, the point of practice drives itself home nicely. Those little fellas where pretty excited to have something to bite at though, that's for sure, heh, heh, heh.
Point I suppose is I plan to fish the Cumberland this spring and Herrington tailwater sooner than that and was curious about specific scud patterns to attempt in those waters. Thanks for the good advice by the way.
