I posted a message on here several years ago after having fished this little lake(probably 5-7 yrs) but haven't been back to it since. I'm not even sure of the actual name of the lake. Just wonder if anyone has any info on it(tips-hints,etc)...the main question being, can you start a big motor to put a boat back on trailer. My buddy is more concerned with this than any other issue. We caught some fish when we made the long haul before but just haven't been back.
If this is your secret spot and you'd rather not post on the board, please email me at biddle1@bellsouth.net. I'll keep the conversation between us. Thank you in advance for any and all help.
It is , "Tompkinsville City Lake" . I have fished this lake 3 or 4 times, only at night in the summer. The rule of "electric only" is exactly what it means. I wouldn't want to give up the freedom to fish that little lake just to be able to start your motor to load your boat. I have never seen a boat that could not be loaded with the trolling motor. You just have to back the trailer in deeper.
The reason for this rule is, this is the city water supply.
