    Re: GPS problem

I have the H2OC and this seems to work when it is trying to pick up satellites:

    1. Press "Menu" twice
    2. Scroll down to "GPS Setup"
    3. Select (Enter) on "Initialize GPS"
    4. Then follow the directions to place the cursor near your position. When the info box pops up, press "Exit", then move the cursor to your location. The more you zoom in and closer to your present location, the faster it will pick up.

Being inside your home, and dense forestry will also cause your signal to weaken or be lost. I have never had a problem in my vehicle, or on the water with this. The above procedure has always worked for me. The Owner's Manual says to follow this procedure when it takes longer than 1 minute to pick up a signal. If the problems persist, contact Lowrance.

    Hope that helps you.
