I caught my first smallie of the year today. Caught it in a small creek around Bloomington....16 inches on a tube!!!! Can't wait til it warms up enough to go wading for the big boys!!!!

True...and I have in the past....just don't have the waders anymore! I have several stretches of the creek I can fish from the bank, and the scratches the itch to fish for now!

I see. I'm guessing it was a high level fish consumption advisory fish............

Ha ha....I'm sure it was...aren't they all these days!!!!! The high levels of toxins must have given it the ability to jump and pull like a tug boat too

Indian Creek has been kind to me before. I have fished it around the Green/Lawrence county line, and around a little town called Silverville. It is deep in places...I'm talking swimming through holes!

I will have to look into this. There is a creek I have wanted to check out everytime I drive over it. It is on SR 58 by Owensburg I believe.

That very well could be Indian Creek. I can give you a better idea where I fished it if you want...PM me

Yeah that's Indian. It's kind of a weird one though as it alternates from rocky bottom (=smallmouth) to muddy muck (=yuck) with really no rhyme or reasoning.........

His right about Indian Creek.....rocky parts are good to fish in....muddy parts you want to steer clear of!
